Ok it's -3 outside, and its raining
would you spend 1hour washing one wheel on you mondeo?
then chamois the rain off the bodywork and start the next wheel?
I swear the guy across the road has lost his marbles
he did the same thing on sunday in the snow, and he was at it from 8am to 6pm

There was a fella like this by ours before we moved, he used to wash his BMW 3 series practically every day inside and out, spending hours doing it, he came into the shop one day telling me dad he'd found rust on the exhaust and whether he should put something on it to treat it Before the BM he had a 1.8 LS Vectra, and he made it a SRi Replica and he was just as obsessive over this, atleast you'd get a good car if you bought it off someone like this

I agree. £6 in tescos car park for a very decent job. Can make them go over it in places if your unhappy too.

He's still at it
His wife was out having a go at him by the looks of it,
they both went inside, then she emerged and buggered off in the car,
returned 5mins later, and he's back to wheel one again
poor guy, he must loose sleep when its dirty

A guy does exactly the same on his Mondeo that lives over the road from me.
In fairness its a '94 M Plate, but its a minter.
Once a week/every other week each wheel comes off, he washed out the arxches, then does both side of the wheel. Then he goes inside to have a brew, and let the tyre/arch dry, and then goes to put it back on.
Once its back on, he'll move to the next wheel. Once all wheels are done, he will then get out his hose, which has a rotating and foaming brush on the end (really noisey - annoying too) and he'll wash the body work.
Come rain, sleet or snow he'll do it without fail, then the following week he'll do his missus Focus too.
The guy 2 doors down from him is a wierdo too. He'll was cars in the rain, and still leather time down even if its raining. Fairly pointless but he does it the same. They have 3 cars in the household, and he'll stay outside until they are done, he does EVERYTHING too, door shits, bonnet shuts, boot shuts, arches etc etc. He'll never use any cleaning products apart from shampoo in the water, and he never vaccums them either. I've seen them done once with the Vax.

He's the twat for cleaning his car?
Your cool for posting it on the internet. So whilst he's doing something productive for himself, your ripping into him like a teenage boy trying to get in his first girls pants by posting on the internet how sad HE is.
Oh the irony

And no not really,
If you read it, its -3 outside and raining
so either,
1. you think thats perfectly normal to wash your car in freezing conditions whilst its raining
2. you didnt read what was written
3. you're an argumentative badger and want a debate about it

1) Yes, i wash my bike in any conditions, if it needs a wash, it needs a wash. The longer you leave the salt on it, the quicker it corrodes. I've also washed my car in the rain, and the bike.
2) Yes, i did. Hence the irony about sadness.
3) No im a human, not a badger. I've just hit a nerve with you it seems because I think its rather lame how you take the micky out of someone, not to their face, but on the internet, whilst he's actually doing something, and your browsing a car forum taking the p1ss out of him for it.........
Thats it really. Carry on with your post
