Due to now working full time on a decent wage and having a few ncb's under my belt I am thinking of leaving corsa ownership

So then what is my car worth? Heres the spec:


1995 N reg gsi smoke grey 81,000 miles on the clock.

> very clean shell no rot or cracked pillers passed MOT with no advisories or problems
> on the surface the bodywork is very clean no rust anywhere and the body kit was recently sprayed to remove the OE dimpled effect to give them a gloss finish. People always comment on the cleaness of the body work
> interior is all origional and nice and tidy. Seats are like new only sign of wear is a bit of sag on the drivers seat bolster from getting in and out.

Engine was recently rebuilt less the 5000 miles ago including cambelt, water pump, bottom end shells, piston rings and stem seals.

Modifactions:

Lowered 60mm
magnex cat back exhaust
Drilled airbox with K&N pannel
Mantzel inlet
Janspeed 421
Ported and polished head
SBD rollers
ARP rod bolts
Remapped with the rev limit raised to 7800 rpm

also has JVC head unit and JBL componets

x4 new goodyears fitted a couple of months back as well



How much would it fetch in this form?


Also how much is put 100% back to standard? as i have all the old parts

Cleanest gsi I think I have seen! £1500-£2000 again to the right buyer.I would have it but couldn't afford to insure it Otherwise would bite your arm off for it good luck

looks immaculate mate i dont know much about the value of gsi's but i would give 1.5k for that its immaculate.

Thats really nice mate,might be interested at the right price! Always liked the gsis!,how quick is it must be 130 bhp with the mods?

no point selling it stock, gsi are not a collectors item, and people that want them would do exactley what you have anyway

Yer its got FSH even the origional sales receipt to say it was ex demo and the origional buyer trader a nova sri in px for it

Possibly I need to get a new car on the drive first


Will have a rr print out by the time its sold too so there should be an indication of what the mods have achived

Not sure really I just know that £30 of juice lasts me a week

I dont think the mods have decreased mpg that much just the temptation to plant your right foot it alot higher

how many miles do you do a week mate,sorry for all the questions just I do 30 miles a day to work & back and dont wanna be putting a load more fuel in,saving for a house at the mo!

I think my round trip to work is 18 miles a day. So 90 miles a week for work. Plus out some week nights and trips at the weekend so I would say between 150 and 200 miles a week

Do you nail it everywhere? I get 250 miles to around £35 of petrol in my 1.6 sport and thats driving it fairly hard!

not sure really I will try and get a more acurate estimate this week.

I did say that I would let someone know a while back if i came to selling. Not sure if they are still interested though

Gav. If that was me you were thinkin of. I have another car now. Shame though as yours is a lovely example. If you do sell i think the new owner wii of done very well for themselves.
