Went out for a mates 20th last night to romford.
What a waste of money...
Drinks cost way too much, tasted like shit.
Music was very loud and bassy but very good tunes were played.
I felt like cattle in a pen being ushered around ready for the slaughter house.
I spent £65 just on drink, £8 on food and £13 on a taxi even though my house is about 5 miles away.
Does anyone even enjoy clubbing? the only things i liked were the scantily clad essex girls with there tits and rats hanging out (not the heffer ones) and the good music.
Waste of money IMO! what do you think?

I'd rather spend a quarter of that on petrol and go on a random drive for the evening!

i'd much prefer to go to a restaurant and cinema with the girlfriend and still have money left over to put a full tank of petrol in the car with the money i wasted

My expierience of clubbing:
Queue for ages (most of the time)
Notice they're still playing songs from 1998
Spend ages waiting to be served
Do a lap and check out the situation
Get back to where you started
Spend ages waiting to be served
Find somewhere to perch
Get bored
Spend ages waiting for your coat
Go home
Late licence bars/pubs FTW.

I love going clubbing, we go out most weekends and i think its great.
It is damn expensive when you think about it though, best to have some drinks before you go out and stay at a mates nearer town. costs me 20 quid to get home 10 miles away

Meh, cant be helped when your a student.
But i do see that going out at weekends if becoming a bit pointless. As Graham said, id rather go for a short drive or save the money i would waste in a club and buy something for the car.
Dont mind during the week though, i guess its just weekends in Derby

I like it, but I go out on student nights...
So A ) I make the effort to sort out a queue jump for me and my mates before hand... No queues
B ) Student nights are cheap to get in / free
C ) Student nights have cheap drinks £1.50 a pint etc
and Finally
D ) Student nights are packed full of fit student birds!
Good times.

Don't mind it occasionally but much rather a couple of pints in the pub... trying to drink pints in clubs is the most bloody awkward thing ever lol (of course thats why theres bottles but hey... lol)

I'm 19 too, hate clubbing - much prefer a night at home with mates having a laugh/watching football or whatever.

Late Night Pubs and Bars ftw imo. Where I live is gash nightlife wise, only 2 half decent late night pubs and a bar that is full on middle aged ppl.
But its better than clubbing

Ive just turned 20 and I hate going out, for the reasons thats its too packed, and drinking is just a complete waste of money, you get no pleasure out of it and even sometimes fucks you up for the next day or 2.
BUT, im not single, and if I was single I can undersand the reasons why you want to go out. I prefer to have the night in with a mate racing on Forza or kicking arse on pro evo with a few bottles, much more fun, stay out the cold and wet, and dont have to walk home or risk getting mugged or anything
