Right was looking at autotrader today and pretty sure im after a vts or gti 106 for the next car...but have seen some mx-5's going cheap...and wondered what they are like???

anyone bought one?

Supposed to be good drivers cars, pretty solid and reliable. Just got a bad image as they are a bit tarty, nice cheap convertible though.

ive got a liking for the MX5's.

Turbo and Supercharged ones come up forsale fairly often too,

There was a Mazdaspeed Supercharged one on the bay the other day

i work for mazda and i gotta say there spot no. not alot goes wrong with them really at all and there soo easy to work on and maintain.

great fun to drive and plenty of mods out there for the engines when you look in the right places

Id drive one TBH they can look spot on modded

plenty of sites for bits if you need them, good fan base to

I'm 6' 3'' and had to have the roof down and door open on a MK I just to get it on the ramp. I managed to close the door on a MK II and road test it but still had to have the roof down and I was crippled afterwards.

That said, I couldn't even get both my legs in an MGF. They are fucking awfull.
