to collect and fit my cage tomorrow

anyone fangled a 10pt omp cage into a corsa before?
taking tools to demon tweeks to remove my seat, put cage in to bring it home then do the same again to remove it and fit it again

went to pick it up today, ended up gettin my mate in a van down with me.
how the balls do these fit in?
any particular way to get it in?

if u look at novaneils prject thread these very rarely "bolt in" need a bit of work to get it to sit right iirc

only thing is from my experiance of bolt in cages, there not that simple! normally u have to weld some plates in for the cage to bolt to, and cause there mass produced, there never a perfect fit. last one i fitted was in a bmw e30 n we ended up using a ratchet strap round the 2main uprights to get them in the right place

Thats a 10 point cage.
You have to fit them through the doors to get them in, rear part first then the front, bolt the 2 sections together line it up in place then fit in.

You need to trial fit it and weld the doorbars in the position you want them in first to ensure they clear the seats (as in my WIP thread).
And remember when your bolting it all into place DO NOT jack the car up... Loosely assemble everything them start applying pressure at different locations. You'll find the cage will "pull" the car into position. You'll know if you've done it wrong because the door won't shut

It is indeed advertised as a 10 Point cage. As there's 10 points of contact. Although admittedly when I first saw it I thought it was a 6 point as well

do you have to take the roof lining out to fit these and also are saftey devices the same as omp cages
