This has been asked before I would think; but I've just clocked 130,000 miles this week in my 1.2 8v 1993 corsa LS

In that time, I've owned it for 7 years; blown the head gasket once and had a ECU go tits up - but apart from that no major engine problems

What's the highest mileage corsa about?

77k 12v no problems. Cam chain replaced, as you'd expect, due to noise though. 1 AFM in my ownership.

When I had my corsa I bought it new (T-reg) and in five years put 125K miles on it.

It only got serviced twice

No problems whatsoever.

Was a 1.2 SXI

I keep meaning to change it and have always said when something goes wrong, I'll get rid but it costs nohing to insure, nothing to run. MOT last year was £100, incl test fee which for a 15 year old car isn't bad. I commute a 60 mile orund trip everyday as well but when you spend 50% of that sat in traffic at 5-10mph, theres no point having anything bigger.

We've got the missus Zetec S for the weekend and I get to use the works Navara whenever its not in use

I thought mine had started to give up as it was drinking oil; turned out that the rocker gasket had given up - £1.70 later and all's fine!
