Why is there fanblades on the pulley?

I had one of them when I was about 14. The cambelt skips teeth and it's noisy as fuck

thats a common engine setup mate

normally on big diesel engines mounted for RWD

I got one for a fiver a coupla years ago by using some dodgy codes on this website, it was the only thing on there that looked any good. Not a bad little toy but im glad I didnt pay £25 for it

they are quite cool, ive got one somewhere in my room,but they dont turn over fast enough though you get bored watching them after about 10 seconds
