as above, you work your nackers off for years to buy a nice car and work your way up. Then one day just think you'd prefer a car that is cheap to buy and run and go back to where you started off? I like nice cars but for some reason have lost all interest in them. So i bought a corsa c van 1.3 tdci and put cars up for sale

Having an ok car is FTW.

You dont get pissed off because of "all the money" you spend on it...and you dont get laughed at by your mates because of its crapness

Try having car OCD where you can't stand haing a dirty car, but you ordered it with orange seats and they get dirty too quickly.

I use the Land Rover more than the Astra now, despite it being slower, cheaper and generally less flash. Its also more comfortable, I worry less about it and when required to do so it'll carry passengers without them asking whether I've got flat tyres.

Love the pug. It's got loads of toys to play with and not exacally slow when pushed. Personally think it looks mint but that's personal choice.

Down side is i don't have time to look after it as much as i really should, the amount of miles i'm putting on the clock and the cost of fuel.

love driving a shitter to work and day to day driving, no worries in car parks, mileage running up, dirty, cheaper to maintan (tyres etc), invisible to police (compared to modded).

Which is why I keep buying shitters and running them into the ground. The escort doesnt even get the first look from the coppers, when I had a corsa (unmodified) I swear they gave me a 'longer-than-a-glance' look

I love my Corsa, in the past there have been times when I have regularly drove an Escort van, a Peugeot Partner van and a £500 Nissan Primera. The only good things about them was not being bothered about em, none where legally mine, but the Escort was as good as mine, I used it every week day for about 5-6 months, I'd generally use it on a morning, then on an afternoon, when I didn't need it, I'd use my Corsa, it always felt great getting back in my Corsa.

I never really liked driving any of the vans or the Primera, don't think I'd buy one unless I had too, they weren't really bad to drive but they could never excite me. It was always great getting back in the Corsa tho, just a much more interesting drive

Think I'll stick with parking out of the way and enjoying driving

Considering this atm as im thinking of buying an newer car. But ive just been out in the corsa and it puts a grin on my face when I go for a little blast. Think I will miss it if it goes it might always be breaking but its cheap to fix in comparison to other cars etc

I love having a nice car. But tbh it attracts much unwanted attention from many undesirables inc the police.

i intend on purchasing a house so its got to go and i shall be purchasing a corsa cdti me thinks

Where I get to drive so many in my job, I cant bring myself to buy my own.
The extra money I have every month soon goes on clothes and electrical items.
