Got a phone call this morning from my mum saying their was a little flood around her house. Got there and found it was a little more than a 'little flood' and the water was actually 1" from getting into the house 
Water is flowing off all the fields next to ours and normally flows into the water course next to our field, problem is that this is getting full and so all the water from the fields is collecting on ours and then flowing down like a river and collecting round our house 
Front, about 6" under water.
Back, deepest by the house is about 6" again.

That is quitw bad, did you get flooded last year when we had all the rain?
Looks like you might need some sand bags soon! Those fileds yours?

No, its never flooded before! Ive seen much much worse rain than this and weve never had a problem, so think their must be a problem with the drains or further along the water course.
Yeah, fields are ours.
