finally finished the car, been polishing for an eternity.

body was done with clay, G3, then 3M finnese-it, then autoglym EGP, then megs gold class paste wax. gonna try some p21s soon.
glass was done with megs fast glass.
wheels were done with srp, then the lips with 2400 paper for scratched areas, then 3600, then some abrasive metal paste then nuvite to finish. then egp
basically i spent ages on it, it badly needed it! did the interior with some megs aloe leather conditioner and megs plastic and vinyl treatment. exhaust same as the wheel lips.

before

this was a brand new clay bar after doing one door!

after, not enough daylight

quite happy with it, my aim was just to bring it back up to a good standard so i can keep it that way

the insurance is great mate! around £700 for me, if you can insure a ctr or similar these are no probs. drive is good, bit hard to get used to as rear visibility is murder, but its really comfy and handles well. mpg...says its doing 24 average, about 350 miles a tank, which is £60-£70.

try elephant.

its 5.5 to 60 or something. good thing is it just keeps going.

mine is the 280ps model, 03-05, 06 was 300ps, then 07 is 315ps i think. more tuning parts for the 280 and 300 engines, although the 280 produces the most torque of the lot.

i like it, its a good all round car, its not a back road basher but its just so good for cruising on bypass or pimpin about.
