My school days werent so good, didnt underachieve (A* - C in every GCSE, A/B A Level Business) but when I met my G at sixth form got a hammering about it, dont know why, didnt realise I used to be as childish as they were / still are

Now at uni and its not the best, bit more grown up but still hate the feeling of meeting assignment deadlines and doing exams, stillf eels a bit like school, cant really wait to get out into the proper world

I did fairly good at school, went to college where I slacked on my A-levels, mainly due to an addiction to a certain MMOG. I then met my girlfriend. I figured out that if I wanted to keep her I've gotta grow up and stop wasting my life on some stupid game.

I then got a saving grace when I managed to get on a foundation art & design course, meaning I could get into uni with a pass/merit or distinction. meaning my A-level score was obsolete.

I'm now at Bournemouth Art Institute studying an Fda in Visual Communication, which will branch out into a Bah in my chosen specification. Im also still with my girlfriend, who is now my fiancée.

so yea, I cant really complain.

Left school and went to college. From college i went to uni. Now got a good job, a decent car and my own flat.

Things could be better, but it's human nature to want more.

Its my ambition to buy my old school out and demolish it, or just buy it and fire the fuckers still working there.

I'm definately winning atm

Did well at GCSE, then sacking it off for my A Levels which looking back was really silly - I should have got A's when I got C's. Went to Uni and decided that I knew better and it wasn't the place for me and promptly sacked that off as well!

Worked for a bit but couldn't stand working with plebs so I went back to Uni mainly to not have to work tbh.

Left Uni with a Music degree (which as you can imagine is worth a lot) and got a job in IT (which ironically is the first degree I sacked off) that I absolutely love.

I've achieved everything I've wanted so far in life. Everything else after this is a bonus

I'm living the dream

I left school with a place at uni.
I went skiing for a season and came back a qualified instructor.
I travelled half way round the world with some friends.
I started uni and passed the first year no probs.
I travelled round europe to some crazy places!
Passed the second year of uni no probs.
I got a placement job which I loved for about 6 months then a few things happened there which made me walk out which taught me a great deal about the real world.
I got a flat.
I got rid of the flat
I got a job as a holiday rep and I get paid to ski and party with 18 year old girls.
I'm going back to uni in September to finish and graduate...

Since leaving school about 5 years ago, I spent 2 1/2 years as an apprentice mechanic, when I started it was something I really wanted to do but towards the end I got bored, so started working for my Dad. That consisted of Delivering pies and sandwiches, and other odd bits of stuff, was doing that for about 18 months, now I have setup a vending services business with my parents and brother, it's going well upto now, although we're only 4 months in, so not quite millionaires yet

So in terms of where I was expecting to be, it's not gone to plan, but I think I've done a fair bit better than planned, so it's all good

And school wise, I didn't really like it, and even tho it was fairly low stress most of the time, it was nowhere near as good as life is now, just need to sort my personal life now

Tricky one, do you like the money or the carefree life.

I didn't like school much at the time, but compared to working its a doddle. My work feels much more rewarding though, both what I'm doing and the money (even though it isn't much ATM).

Given the choice I don't know if I'd go back or not.

I left school almost 11 years ago and still don't know what I want to do with my life! I have gained an apprenticeship and nvq's since leaving though. Spent 8 years welding, 1 year as a drawing controller and the past 8 months in insurance.

I left school nearly 8 years ago with 10 A to C's and i'm currently working in a bar while doing some voluntary work.
I spent 6 years in further education not knowing what to do, however this voluntary work in regards to healh and well being projects I have started, looks like it may have got my foot in the door. With a bit of look in a year or so I should be quite a bit further on, if not I'll be planning a year in Australia for sure.
