My question is, dose your partner like you owning a Corsa, or do they slate you for it, saying its a chav car and they don't like it? and that you should buy something "more respectable"

When I owned a Corsa, then co-owned one with the same girlfriend (we now co-own an Escort) we both loved them to bits, I would take my old SRi back any day (as long as the engine had been replaced  )

well tbh i have 2.0 corsa and a astra gsi but my mre loves my corsa to bits and wont let me sell it lol
they are not chavs cars though are they its just because this is kind of car young lads can afford so they get tainted with that reputation cant tar every corsa with same brush, some people like me have spent time and money on tasteful modifications etc not neon washer jets

Yes I know what you are saying my girlfriend seems to think that because she went from driving a saxo to a new astra that my car is now a chav car, when in actual fact it is far from it.

the mrs hates my corsa and hates the fact it gets more attention than her at times and allso has more money spent on it. but forgets the fact that if i wasnt driving she would have to catch the bus everywhere or walk wich i doubt she would do

After I was in my second medium sized accident in my corsa LET she kept crying and saying its the car or me, your going to kill yourself. I bought another GSi then in the summer ended up putting the LET back in. Im still with her but I would probably still have done it if she had left me

my parents would rather i gave up the "boy racer" scene and stop spending money on the car......im 22 living away from home with a full time job as a design engineer....you'd think its past me listening by they still try (and yes i know they have my best interests at heart)
