Opinions on a postcard
I'm still awaiting the outcome
The roads with green lines are dual carriageways. The other two are singles.

Well that exact diagram has been sent on to my insurance company along with a statement of what happened however the general opinion is that its going to end up knock for knock with me paying £400 of my £800 excess. !
Other driver (Female) has not admitted fault

pink line, but.... i myself would really have moved over to the left lane by either slowing and letting him past / speeding up and overtaking him

other driver should not have even been on the roundabout as they should have given way to the right, and not tried to go round a roundabout on the outside lane.

The damage tho shows her small frontend of her Daewoo matiz slammed into me

If i steered into her then my wing would have been damaged at least.

Pink line, as were in the wrong lane anyway because if wanting to turn right should be either where the white line should be or in the next lane to the right. And they hit you on the side anyway so the pink line is to blame all the way!

Pink is obviously at fault, but you're a silly boy for not being "aware" what was happening anyway. I've managed to get out of those situations several times since I started driving.

My mate was in the same situation, smallish accident on a roundabout,
the lady would not admit fault although it was obvious she was at fault
that was in autumn 06
and im sure he's still not had a payout

50/50 isnt it as if you would have stayed in the same lane all the way to the junction then the other car wouldn't of been able to get onto the roundabout.

you start off in lane 1 then by the time you exit your in lane 2. so you changed lane which could indicate to another driver you are continuing round the round about

So her total disregard for the highway code pulling out into my lane has nothing to do with it then

she is just doing what you have done. gone into lane 1 to get to the 2nd exit. its just that when you moved over to lane 2 i pressume she thought you were going to exit 3.
