I've bought parts for cars I have never owned or planned owning,

But if you reckon your gonna buy the car go for it, I dont see there being a problem

if you have somewhere to store it/the money to buy it... do it!!

it makes sense if said items are rare/usually much more expensive...

VAG parts like wheels are quite generic, so if you buy wheels then you'll still have a vast choice of cars to buys with that fitment.
(if you don't decide on a polo that is)

Yeh, if your planning a project in the near future and the parts come up i bought irmscher bumpers and skirts the other month sold them on again due to a change in plan...

i bought a smooth boot off here before i got my corsa,

depends on how intent you are on getting that specific car, but at the end of the day if its bought at a good price you can always sell it on again?

i did to, universal backbox and a few other bits of chavy tat that still are in the shed somewhere that didnt even fit the corsa

tbh i have a bad experience with it. I bought £600 suspension for my last corsa before i bought it and then wrote it off

Ended up loosing money on it

If its cheaper than it should be then yes as it can be resold if you don't like/dont get the car you want.

Problem solved. Ive found a supplyer of the wheels that i want.

There not cheap though and take 2 months to make as they are special orders

i'd buy them...if theyre at a reasonable price then you can always sell them on and break even/make a small profit if plans change
