For those who are interested..
My tank spec/stock:
Orca tl-450 nano
This has a rear built in sump, it has 4 chambers, chamber 1 being the right most chamber with the inlet.
In chamber 1 i have filter wool, this is washed weekly with ro water and replaced quaterly. Also a uv steriliser and maxi jet pump to Chamber 2. this has the protein skimmer in. chamber 3 has the heater and more filter wool. chamber 4 has a step 1 pump surrounded in filter wool (prevents micro bubbles and blocking of the pumos inlet) acting as a powerhead out to the display area. Also in this chamber i have purigen (nitrite/nitrate remover) and phosguard (phosphate remover).
Then in the front of the tank i have 9kgs of living rock. A hydor koralia powerhead for more flow.
The stock is:
5 x red legged hermit crabs
6 x turbo snails
odds snails from the living rock (about 2)
1 x strawberry fish
1 x true perc clown (nemo)
1 x scooter blenny
1 x orange centered zoo coloney
1 x green striped mushroom coloney (about 6 of them)
1 x umberella toadstool (as 1st post)
1 x pink centered zoo colonet (as 1st post)
1 x feather duster
I carry out 10% water changes each week (just over a gallon)
My parameters are all excellent, 0ppm of ammonia/nitrite/phosphate and 0.25ppm nitrate... just the basic ones, all my calcium/magnesium/iodine readings are spot on.
