think im allowed to post this here :S

sum1 decided that my 1.4 sport (now turned 1.6I with db manifold) was too good for them and decided to reverse in to my back quarter and write my car off the other week

fucking gutted for ya mate. makes me cringe looking at that because it looks like mine. at least the speedlines ok

not bent the sill iv been told, but defo a write off...jus thinking weather or not to buy it back or not due to everythin goin wrong on it lol. the woman who reversed in to it (i was in a house) didnt evan tell me though, found bumper pieces on floor, checked colour, found car on a drive across road and knocked on door and she said she didnt notice she did that. bullshit imo

depends who you know really with getting things like that fixed. have you tried taking the pannel off inside and banging it back out. it would look a lot better. doesnt look like its creased it bad

everything has to come off (exhaust, alloys, manifold and bonnet cable has to be snapped, drums brakes etc) yes i could easlie just pop it out and bog it up with a bit of filler and spray it but engine wise....its dieing . i think i will buy the car back jus to sell the heated leather interior (from a calibra) and the engine etc...but ah well.

depends what you paid for it really and what you can get back for bits if its worth more in pieces then strip it

well i was thinking about buying it back, putting everything back on it and dropping a 2litre red top in it with the money that i get paid out (if i do and they dont notice the engine) but im not quiet sure yet...gotta find some prices on how much it would cost for everything changing to a 2 litre, ne ideas?

am i right in thinking you have an engine conversion in that corsa thats not declared?? You mention if the insurance dont notice the engine. If so, your a badger!

Yes he's in the wrong for not declaring the engine change but give the lad a break! Just had his car mullered, how would you feel coming out and seeing that?

I have no sympathy for people with invalid insurance = them not insured. Bet he'd be more pissed if the woman wasnt insured eh.

haha no i have not declared it and i know plenty of people with 2 litre corsa's that aint declared it. yes 1.6 and 1.4 r similar but im going to snap my bonnet cable and hope for the best. not askin for ur sympathy jamie.
