Hi - very pissed off here. Anyway :-

Jade wanted a Digi camera for Xmas, She wanted a specific model & wanted the limited edition colour. So I done what all good boyfriends would do & tried to find her one. One mail order place I ordered off let me down big time so I ended up on ebay & found one. Great..won the auction last Friday. I was getting a bit panic manic as they emailed to say it would not be getting sent until Wednesday. Then got an email saying they were holding shipment another few days as im not paypal varified address I exchanged some emails basically telling them to get their thumb out their ass & send it as I need it before xmas & it would be no good to me after.

It arrived today & its the wrong fucking colour. Its black casing not the pink she wanted - that I had supposidly won...........now to some this may not be an issue but 1. I could have wandered into the nearest high street & got a black one - cheaper! 2. Its not what my girl asked for!

I just sent them this:

My item has now arrived however it is not my item - it is the incorrect colour. You sent a black TZ3, not a Pink/Tan TZ3 as I won on the auction. This is not acceptable as I specifically went out of my way to buy a pink/tan one - & expected that to be what I was getting as described by yourself on ebay. If I wanted black id have bought black from one of the many places they are readily available! This was sold as the Very Rare color ~ Limited Quantity! camera, it was also described as UK Stock which it clearly is not judging by the socket adaptor included for the charger. You have cheated & lied to me & wasted my time when I could have purchased an honest product from someone else. I demand a full refund otherwise I will report this to ebay & involve VISA in recovering my money.

No more cheery unidirectional responses please, I would like a proper response detailing me exactly what you are going to do about the problem you have created. I honestly thought someone with as many positive feedbacks as you would be on the ball & provide a good service. I was obviously mistaken. This whole experience has been nothing short of rubbish!! Get it arranged to pick up your camera as soon as possible otherwise I will take further action.

Colin Johnston.

This is the listing I won:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180192369292&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=008

They sent one like this;

What do I do next?? Do I leave feedback?, contact ebay?, contact my credit card people. Or wait to see if they do as I asked of them.

Fucking goats have made a shambles of my pressie to my burd

Also its a USA one as they've cunningly slipped a plug adaptor in the box for the charger. It says UK stock on the Auction listing!

Report them to ebay, and also put in a claim with paypal and contact your credit card company

don't leave feedback yet, wait until matter is resolved and then leave the negative

12.99 is also way over the odds for postage

Woulnt I be better going straight to my credit card? Ive heard paypals not worth its salt & take ages / sometimes only give part payment!? Visa would just take the money from paypal maybe....forcing them to chase the cunts for the doe!

I KNEW I would get my fingers burned using fleebay, was actually shaking my head while clicking the bid button......never again!!

We want your eBay experience to be great, and that means making sure that you get the help you need, when you need it.

To find the answers to your questions quickly, click the “Help” link at the top of any eBay page. You'll come to the Help Centre, where you can search or browse the Help topics to find the information you need. You can bookmark, print and save the information you find.

If you still need help, click the “Contact Us” link on the left-hand side of any Help page. This will take you to a form where you can send an email to eBay’s Customer Support. Note: Depending on the nature of your question, it can take between 24 to 72 hours to receive an email response from Customer Support.

In some cases, the Live Help button appears on prominent eBay pages, such as the Seller Registration pages. You can click the Live Help button to connect to a private chat room, where you can ask an eBay representative your question.

ebay is basically done with emails only,

they are clearly scamming, go onto paypal and report it with them, and just ring the credit card, theyll take the money back and make paypal do something about it

they are scum i hate people on ebay like that, should be banned

What are you most pissed off about the colour?, american stock?, refurbished camera? all of it?.

Colour, fair enough it's not the colour you ordered.

Refurbished means bugger all unless you were not told/informed before hand. In some ways they are better than new as they will be full tested and reboxed and packaged before sending. Sometimes a return for a simple reason such as wrong item will class it as refurbished. It will go off an be fully tested and checked. Unlike one of the shelf new.

It will be a US model/verison and come from within the UK as some sellers are based in the US but are sending large stock over to the UK for someone here to distribute upon auction end. Thats why the plug/adapter will be supplied and the UK postage. Happens a lot with PC parts.

Lumix is a Panasonic brand but will come mainly in its own packaging anyway.

it sounds they were fobbing you off as they didn't have any in that colour left. To waste some time until they could get one in.

when you moaned they sent a black one out in the hope you wouldn't mind

File a claim with paypal, you'll probably win.

Will people please shut up about postage not being proportionate as well, we all know it doesn't cost 19.99 to post something worth a fiver, that's how they make their money, if you don't like it don't bid.

lol @ first link. Not saying Colin hasn't looked and not directed at him but people always jump to the conclusion that ebay is the cheapest and has the best deals, before looking anywhere else.

People bitchin about postage also piss me off. The total costs are there to be seen before you bid
