Right there hasn't been a proper thread about this so.....
x12xe has 65BHP according to the handbook
whatcar.co.uk say's the sxi has 75BHP
People have had RR's reporting at least 75BHP
The big question.....what is it actually? This could be an email to vauxhall soon!

Mine's on an S plate and got 79.4 on a rolling road with a derestricted airbox and cat-back. Rolling road seemed fairly accurate on the day

Yeah you seem to have an opinion on a lot of things. I've never seen a useful one though.

ok tbh i had a '99 sxi and personally i down think that they had 75. As when i bought a 1.4 sport (which is know to be 88bhp) the differance was so noticable. There felt like there was definitly more than a 13bhp increase

Better for you?

Its a 1.2, it doesn't really suit itself to a conversation about BHP as it was designed for nipping to Tesco and back with Bernard and Ethel rummaging in the discount fridge...

Insurance reasons. Lets be honest, people buying a 1.2 want cheap insurance, running cost and not performance.
