That's similar to mine, but less owners and more original, I'd say £3k to the right buyer, 2.5 for an easy sale, £2.2k for a quick one.

and it'd be 2 years, not 5.

I can't see anyone being mad enough to do 60k a year in a mk1, even when they were knew that would have been silly

its been used quite often, only a few times in recent years as the man has a van for work and the wife's car.

he has asked his wife what to do with it, she said its up to him. so i need to find out whats its worth as it was my idea to buy it from him.

Dont worry robin it will go straight to the man who done my bodywork as he dis-likes new modern cars.

i cant belive it could be worth over 2500 jees i was going to offer him £800

I bought a Mk 2 Polo which is 5 Years newer with a FSH etc for £200

I'd offer him £800

Stavs, I paid £2900 for mine, it was a little over what it should have been, but it was local and the bloke wouldn't budge.

Mine's been painted, but original paint, if it's in good condition, with original wheels means it'll easily be worth 2.5k.

They're not selling at the moment though, bad time of year, so offer him £1500
