just lowered mine 60mm. Wouldn't bother with 40 imo.
Just get the right offset 15"s with 195/45 tyres and jobs good 
Go for a full suspension kit too.

Nah not really not if your going under 60mm then you can use standard shocks, 60mm or more then yes
