Hi all,
Time to get rid of the VTS as I need a diesel. I am doing alot of miles with work and want a nice big comfy diesel.
What I want:
ARM REST ( this is a must lol!!)
Torquey quick engine.
Something Big ish
Good on diesel
Reasonable insurance!
Lets see what you all think!

Bora tdi sport, good cars and look nice in black.
Plus on a recent long trip in my mates, sat at about 90 it gave 50 mpg

We have one as a Company Car and it's ace. Has the power, the comfort, the MPG..... Good cars.

if you can find 1 for your budget,ibiza cupra r!
by far the fastest diesel i've ever been in including a 190 bhp gt tdi golf.
some ingear times faster than a 911!

I was looking at the Bora's actually, quite nice imo.
Also I like the vectra sri, what yous think about them? Any good, anyone drove on?

I think the Ibiza is a bit more expensive than my budget though ?? Or not?

If someone asked me to describe something fairly 'big' I wouldn't use a fabia as an example.
Before you start saying I'm picking on you blah I have noticed you putting forward your fabia in these kind of threads a couple of times when the criteria is quite clearly wrong.

ive driven my mates vectra quite a bit, his has got full leathers, heted seats, all round parkin sensors an stuff an is prety nippy for the size of the car and havin the arm rest jus makes it feel realy comfy to drive lol

Lol ano people think an arm rest is a stupid thing to pick a car on but when you do about 15 miles a day average it is nice to have a bit comfort and something to lean your arm on!! True?
Steve I dont like the Fabia for some reason it doesnt take to my fancy, but each to there own, I drive a C2 atm lol! Sure loads of people would not have one of them lol!
