its alright them using these things on us and european roads, but have they actualy looked at our roads? we just dont have big enough roads for them, not to mention the chaos they could cause at a roundabout

The stats for foreign lorrys side swipping cars on the motorways is shocking - I saw one the otherday and a car was pushed sideways about 100ft down the carriageway must have been scary. This is a stupid idea IMO and will make our roads even more dangerous.

i went on work experience witha company called multidrive who designed a multi axle/pivot truck for the army which was not much smaller than that.
Could go round mini roundabouts with ease when they took me out in it! This was without having to to turn out wide etc.
Good idea, but thats too big for anything but motorway driving.

It's got nothing to do with being courteous it's about the fact they have MAJOR blind spots when pulling out from the slow lane and if your unlucky enough to get caught in this blind spot your gonna get whacked.

i guess its like 1 litre's racing each other lol
if i was a lorry driver i'd well try overtake others. I mean it pisses me off as a car driver, but imagine the excitemenet of overtaking another lorry thats actually quite a task after something like 2 hours of just sitting in the slow lane.
I'd probs end up doing my own commentary like off Formula one or sumit.....

At least its got cameras for blind spots so it doesnt take people out.
Apparantly it will slash freight costs which will in turn slash our weekly supermarket bill, yeah right!

the things is that they are limited to a set speed (or at least they should be) hence why it takes them so long to overtake eachother, its fucking dangerous, and even bigger ones will just cause more problems imo.
Not a rant at you by the way
