Needing short term insurance (about a month) on a car that is over Grp 18, but is under £20k in value.

Anyone any ideas?

You could insure it "for a year" and pay monthly, then cancel it when you're done.

It'll cost a little more as you'll have a £40 admin fee, plus a deposit of 1 month plus an admin fee, but it'll all be legal and easy.

Have you not tried Dayinsure? I have insured a couple of cars for the month with these people and there rather cheap. Not sure what Insurance group they go up to tho.
