On second glance, there doesn't seem to be much room for airflow to the intercooler. The lower grill is tiny!

TBH it's a CAD mockup.
TBH It's a V6 turbo so it might not even be intercooled.

Auto Express just throw some shapes together and call it a brand new car, I would'nt rely on it.

Can't see it myself. Lights are different, the VX has fogs. The bonnet line is different.
Only similar in so much as they are both 4 door saloons TBH.

The lights are very similar.
The lower grills are very similar.
The door mirrors are similar.
The line of where the door handles are is similar.
Quite a lot really.

The lower grills are very similar. CAN'T SEE IT. THE VXR IS DIVIDED INTO 3, BMW LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A FULL WIDTH SPLITTER
The door mirrors are similar. YES, BUT WHAT OTHER KIND OF SHAPE ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO DO?
The line of where the door handles are is similar. AS ABOVE, NOT MANY PLACES YOU CAN PUT HANDLES IS THERE REALLY
Quite a lot really.
Not that it matter much, as a cut 'n' stick image.

The lower grills are very similar. CAN'T SEE IT. THE VXR IS DIVIDED INTO 3, BMW LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A FULL WIDTH SPLITTER The lower central grills start wider at the top, then narrower at the bottom
The door mirrors are similar. YES, BUT WHAT OTHER KIND OF SHAPE ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO DO? Square? Scene the Audi 4x4 mirrors?
The line of where the door handles are is similar. AS ABOVE, NOT MANY PLACES YOU CAN PUT HANDLES IS THERE REALLY There is actually a 'fold' in the door line where the handles are, on both cars
Quite a lot really.
Not that it matter much, as a cut 'n' stick image.
Well I think they are very similar
