needs to be road-legal

Supermoto and 125??? Doubtfull.
It'll be a normal crosser, in which case, haven't got a clue.
SS 125cc's and im ok (the mini road race type bikes).
Most "Supermotos" I think are above 300cc usually, also single cylinders *think* engines.

125, commuting only to start. found a husquvana 125 crosser style bike, cant find any local dealers. i like the aprilla ! how much are they new ?

granted they look very nice, an the theory behind the engine is good, but i recently raced against one (albeit in an enduro race) and it wasnt really up to much tbh.

yamaha did a sort of supermoto called a trickster iirc, single pot, 125 or 200cc, whihc where silly cheap

Aprilia MX125 is the sensible choice, I looked into these a lot in the summer but decided to hang onto my money.
You might find the Husqi's to be pre-mix and not run on normal octane fuel.
Yamaha offer the DT-R but the Aprilia wins hands down!
