I've heard that. But you could have just ripped it off the car and chucked it on the floor for all they know. You're word against the wardens. And as you were the one parked illegally, they would probably take the word of the warden.

You are allowed to drive off if they have not stuck it to your car.

They have to have a photo of the ticket on your car, including your registration in the photo. So if he hasnt taken a photo, by all means drive away
They can hand it to you (the vehicle owner) though, which is the same as it having been issued to you.

You will be fine if he didnt stick anything to the car and take a photo of it on your car, OR handed it to yourself in person

Even more funny, if the warden isnt wearing his hat whilst issuing the ticket, the ticket isnt valid

If they hand it to you in person then they still do not have a photo it has been issued?, unless they ask you to smile and say chesse

Same as police, is it not?! Something like they can't arrest you without their hat on?!

Guess not, but all they have to do is hand it to the person who is in control of the vehicle. Not sure how it would go upon appeal, but you know

So what happens if someone else steals it from your window? I guess they'll contact you first before upping the fine?
