What oil do you use in tuned engines?

Drunkenfool uses castrol 0w30 in his 200bhp(ish) redtop, but speaking today to the rally boys they would never use that grade in an engine like that

They all use 20w50 Millers oil in their redtops and some of them are making 264bhp

What do you use in these high bhp XEs and LETs?

15w-40 (not that mines high BHP)

Mines standard so not much help, but ive always been told to use gm 10w 40. any other oil and it taps to buggery until warm.

Using 5w40 millers in the SEAT now.

Although i wouldn't if i was paying retail

I use 10w40 Halfords oil at the moment. It's starting tapping though Oil Change for the weekend then!!

Just used the normal and approved stuff in my CTR (ate oil!) and the special longlife stuff for the GIT

Halfords 15w/40 for me, whats the point in buying decent oil... it's used about 7 litres since I've had it

They have probly converted to solid lifters.

20w60 Bardhal especial racing oil
or 5w50 Mobil 1

in my 1,62 C16XE/X16XE with almost 130 bhp

I use the one that is cheaper of the two

and some mineral oil just to clean my engine when changing

rubbish for high engine temps, i'd never use it on a turbo.
