It's called Northwich cos' it's in the north and doesn't have a gay name like nessex.

Towns that end in wich were done so because of their conneciton to the salt industry.
Northwich, Nantwich, Middlewich to name a few.

Nah, never been there. I do quite a bit of reading about Northwich and stuff.
