I'd go with the ibiza for reliability, fuel consuption and driveability.
I didn't want a rocket ship, just something faster than my old c16xe corsa that won't break every day. The neon green bugger won hands down. Its also £118 cheaper to insure than the corsa was

you impressed with the little seat then?i always think you are better off getting a standard car than one with an engine conversion.i'm going to get slatted now but i cant help thinking it makes things so much simpler.

its so hard to decide...the XE wud be sooo fun i can imagine (still need to be in one), the 106 option they seem to be praised yet hated lol..its french but for £2000 cud get a gud one i guess...SEAT is a random idea after seeing superlites and allways loving the random colours
XE is true sleeper and wud love the wipe smile off a friends face his had for a few years now

I second that. I'd rather buy a car that was made to have a 2.0 up front

not really! the gt's are cheap!
a standard glanza (which is heavier) can keep up with a redtop!

A bike....
AX GT, faster than a 1.6 16v Corsa, but built like a chocolate teapot. Dam quick for a diddy 1.4 8v 100bhp motor though.
For £2k, i'd save a bit more, and look at a Nissan 200SX.
