After nearly a year with the GSi I parted with it two Sundays ago as I only managed to cover 3k miles in it since I bought it last December. Will deffo miss the comfort and the reliability!

bye bye GSi
After a bit of a search the perfect car up came the ideal candidate a 2004 182 with both Cup packs!

I have had it over a week now and only had the chance to get these crappy pics as I just cant stop driving the damn thing
Best car I have owned without a doubt and even though build quality is suspect its easy to live with and just full of soul and character!
Big thanks to Jr and Rob R for taking me up to see it and pick it up and putting up with my child like jibber jabba as I was too excited
Also big to Brad Fincham who gave me loads of decent advice and was excellent to catch up on Sunday.
I know its not to every ones taste but it just suits my needs and I love it to bits!

You have now discovered the world of handling.
And you now have a car that you have to ring its neck to get it moving, no more lazy in gear luxury torque m8!

One pack is the cup suspension (different dampers and different cambered hubs.
The other pack is the front lip and the rear spoiler

good choice mate (from a clio sport owner) I know you used to own a turbo, but you can get addicted to the kick from the vvt at 5k on these bad boys
Also if you need any help, have a look at www.renaultsportsclub.com

Thinking
ITG Maxogen intake
polished and ported inlet
remap
full stainless Exhaust
and some H&R Coilovers set up by Mark Fish that should plenty enough for some fun up Brands Hatch
But for moment it will stay stadnard (already lowered) for a bit as its a great bit of kit out of the box

Very nice Fad, best colour as well!
There was one of these at the Brands Hatch trackday and it handled so well, he kept catching me in the corners so I had to let him past in the end.
Are you planning on taking it to Brands soon? I might be going to one early November.

Thanks Arnie
Regarding Brands thinking maybe the Frech Car Maagzine track day or the Renault Sport Sport one, but the only thing making me think twice is the weather.....if its wet I can see it costing £££
Going to see how the car pans out over thenext month to see how confident I can get in it. Deffo fancy some track Action though!
