Me and a few mates are looking at going sometime over xmas, most likely either just before xmas and come back before new year, or go just after xmas and come back just after new year.
Have been looking at a few flight comparisson sites etc and can see them for about £500 return if we fly on certain days, wondered if anyone could reccomend any sites?! My mate who we're going to visit reckons we should be able to get them for about £350 but won't be able to speak to him now for a few days so thought be worth asking on here?!

Tried asking Daimo?
He works for a law firm don't you know. And he's staying in Dubai and he's buying clothes out there and he has a big house in England and a VXR and he's going to be the first elected President of the Universe and Beyond because lets face it he's just so much damn better than you or me or anyone.

emirates direct...
expedia
travelocity
opodo
what I usually do is try them, see what airlines come up and then try their site directly to see if they are any cheaper
i think it's usually cheaper to fly between xmas and new year than before xmas
me and adam usually look at flights for India for xmas but always end up going just for new year as it's always about £2-300 cheaper

also....when I've flown to Abu Dhabi before with emirates they stop off in Dubai en route....which means a lot of hanging around waiting while people get off etc....
when abu dhabi is actually only about a 45 minute drive from Dubai

Why are you flying into Dubai if he lives in Abu Dhabi? Etihad fly Daily from Manchester and Heathrow into Abu Dhabi and they're cheap as chips, and a fantastic airline. And 99% of my cabin crew mates aren't bad either for a bit of eye candy for the 7 hour flight
www.etihadairways.com / www.airline-network.co.uk
I live here in Abu Dhabi if you fancy a pint when you're over.
What is your mates brothers name? (U2U?) I may well know him - Abu Dhabi is such a small community

And depending what time you fly into Dubai Airport you'll get stuck in Passport Control for an hour. Then it's a 1.5 drive hour down here.
You'd be off the plane and out of Abu Dhabi airport in 25 minutes.

Is my mates brother we're goin to see, he's working in abu dhabi for the government or something but he's got a pad in dubai so not sure where we are visiting him until my mate speaks to him. Have looked at etihad and it doesn't look that cheap tbh, thinking a package may be best.
Cabin crew mates sounds interesting, funnily my ex bird in london at the moment interviewing for a job with emirates
Oh his name is tim maxwell by the way.
