Ive been taking protein for the last year and half or so, and to my experience its fucking awful, Ive had the following
Maximuscle Pro max + Pro gain
Vanilla and strawberry,,,, I heave when taking..
although i feel im alot stronger and have more push in me when ive taken it.
A mate tonight let me try some Cell tech,, (lemon and lime) It was lovely... although when I got home i found out its creatine...
Ive always been against taking it as Ive heard it has side effects etc etc
opinions...
and also IS there such thing as a protein shake that doesnt make you heave?

Ive had Maximuscle stuff before and it was so horrible. Now i'm on Myprotein's impact whey WPC80 i think its called. Non flavoured and its so good!
I just have it with squash and you cant even taste it. So deffo reccomend that. Also alot cheaper that maximuscle stuff.

Also creatine is not a substitute for protein. Creatine is optional in bodybuilding, protein is essential for building muscles. Be it from food or suppliments.

Protein and Creatine are different. Creatine doesn't have major side effects, you need to consume alot of water if taking it though as it makes you hold water more.
I'd have CEE (Creatine Ethyl Ester) in powder form over Creatine on its own. Hard to explain but i wouldnt worry about taking any of it at the moment, just stick with protein shakes.
Maximuscle are overpriced, can get much better for cheaper.

I forget which one I have. It's chocolate and tastes absolutely gorgeous with milk. Not as good with water, but its bareable. I used to use that maximuscle creatine. Tasted like fuckin dogshit and I felt like I was gonna vomit every time. I really didn't look forward to it at all.

Jas peoples taste buds differ, what you think tastes horrid might be nice to me so its hard to recommend one!
At the moment i'm just finishing a 2.5kg tub of Reflex Instant Whey in Choc-Mint flavour which in my opinion is lovely, cant get any better

Ive been told your body produces creatine, if you take if for more than 6weeks as a supplement your body starts to depend on it and stops producing it naturally? Or something like that. Helps with water retention as already said and so need to drink more water when taking it.
Protein is essential to build muscles, the supplements just mean you dont have to eat 3chickens a day to get enough protein inside you to bulk up, just a normal diet but with protein supplements added in.
Is that right? someone back me up on that, cos I'm not really into it myself, just studied it at school 6years ago!!!

No as you can normally tell by the amount of reps you do on a certain weight...
I normally have a banana and a protein shake before going..
But when I forget or dont get time (time is usually the case)
I struggle on weights that I dont normally!

I'm not being funny but it isn't spinach and you aren't popeye.
Drinking a milshake before you go to the gym will not increase your ability to lift heavier weights ffs
