what they say *bastuk*

primary silencers replaced with straight though pipes with no silencer

the silencing is all done by a bigger and more effective backbox

chosen by OE manufactors, motorsport teams and aftermarket tuners

2.5 large bore design

Manufactured by Milltek Sport in the UK this is the offcial sports exhaust for the VXR220 and VX220 Turbo as recommended by Vauxhall Motors.

The full system comprises:

Hi-flow 200 race cat.

Pre-cat replacement pipe (not needed for the MOT).

Turbo downpipe (standard is notoriously restrictive).

Rear silencer with VXR logo'd tailpipes.

Proven power gains from 12-18bhp.

Trackday friendly 95db.

Saves over 6kg in weight.

Constructed entirely of stainless steel - lifetime guarranty.

As fitted as an option to all VXR220's

Bastuck are poo they dont have centre silencers and lets be fair Regal are their main distrubitor. They are silly loud and deffo not value for money.

I would pay over 1k if it was say a Haywood and Scott item

However for a normal system I would pay up to £350-450 for proven system such as Miltek, Magnex or Jetex.

I would never entertain the idea of a powerflow/longlife as they are pretty much a mockery to the name of custom exhaust.

well ill throw a cat amongst the pidgeons

i went on ebay and bought a 'Cybox' cat back s/s system for my astra gsi turbo, im very very happy with it, as are a few other on astrasport.co.uk cant fault it at all

and at half the price of a scorpion with all the benefits (lifetime guarantee, great build quality) im extremely happy

no centre box fad? are you on about a turbo system? most turbo cat back systems come without a centre box

No a stock Bastuck regardless of Vauxhall model do not have a centre box unless specified.

You will find most systems such as Scorpion/Magnex/Mongoose/Miltek have a centre box even for the Astra GSi turbo and the optional precat pipe and a sports cat are obviously more money.

what makes you think there poo ? because regal sell them ?

im yet to see an off the shelf system that has such a good finish as the bastuk i have seen. i have had

1. scorpion stystem

1. magnex stystem

1. sebring *mild steel* but good value for money

1. lexmaul stystem

the bastuk has a better finish than all of my old SS stystems

also, the lupo gti with the full SS bastuk makes hardly any noise. i would say an irmscher backbox would make more ?
