apart from NOS or Engine conversion whats the best thing to do?

inlet, exhaust manifold, exhaust system, cams, headwork, vernier pullies and a remap, plus change.

or some second hand TBs.

if i had a good strong X16XE id get a set of cams and the DBilas Turbo kit for it. thats my opinion though

as robin said inlet makes a real big difference and you would be able to most of that done for £1500

how about instead of going quicker with an engine, make it go round corners, stop better and make it lighter

it will cost less, go wrong less, and be more fun
