Tribal patterns on the top of the arm are a little too common these days I think. You should design ya own I reckon.

Why is the black ink so faded, you had it long? Did it heal properly, this is what worries me of getting a tattoo like this, having the black not look good enough

normally its down to the artist going too deep, meaning it scabs up and the ink doesnt take right. Its nothing that either a decent artist can avoid, or cant be sorted by it getting gone over again.

It's a combination of the artist and how well you look after a tattoo to how well it heals.

However, as Cosmo says...too deep and you are going to see a patchwork quilt in terms of colour consistency

But at the end of the day it could be the best quality work done by the artist but have been shitely looked after and will turn out shite.

Thats all I was getting at.

agreed. Although other than infection, not looking after it shouldnt cause scabbing (as a good tattoo wont bleed too much after its done) so the colour work should be fine.

Some people bleed more than others. My leg didnt bleed at all. My chest did quite a bit and it all leaked onto my white top.

Sexy!

Red ink is harder to heal and to get right than most other inks.

I was told that buy about green ink

I know what you mean, and know some bleed more than others. But a well done tattoo wont bleed much after it has just been done as the needle just shouldnt go deep enough to do so.

I actually did want a tattoo couple years ago then went on holiday and every single English lad at the pool was covered in tribal and chinese letters etc which put me off. You're more original without 1 these days.
