I dont go out and drink much any more, and when I do, I dont feel like getting drunk. Generally just get ill feeling when I do start drinking heavily.
Id rather spend the money investing in something which would provide me with a chance of gaining more money in return. Or spending it where it'll be more beneficial to myself like on my car. I generally have a lot of savings due to this, where as alot of my friends are in their final year of uni now, spend all the money then their overdraft on drinking as much as possible digging into debt (which i hate the idea of, hence working rather than uni and buying things when I know I have the cash flow to support it)
Anyone else?

Haven't really drank since I was about 16, never saw the point tbh.
Like you said I'd rather spend my money on my car, or something that's gonna give me money back.

i find i dont have to drink but i never really get a chance as im always driving, (parents are tight for lifts and sister has a baby to look after)
but if the odd chance i can get a lift then i can drink plenty and feel fine, a bit tipsy but im not like messy all over the place
i kinda cant be bothered to go out these days though as i just feel knackered after work now and everyone only goes the pub..

I dont drink either, im only in my second year at uni, its a pointless activity. If you get pissed you generally wake up worse for wear or out of pocket in the morning and then u lose the productivity of the next day or 2 trying to get better again, doesnt make sense lol.
I would much rather go out with the GF on a shopping trip or for a meal at night then come back and have a quiet night in with the hosue to ourselves. Dont drink at home really, would rather have a glass of coke or milkshake or summat

Go out and don't drink.
Its easier to pull pissed girls that way and you won't wake up next to a minger

drax, I'm the same. I'm 19, and have only been clubbing a handle of times. I hate getting a hang over. I prefer just going out for a quiet few bevvies with the missus, sexy time when home and then be able to get up and enjoy the next day!
Plus, I can't afford it much and want my own liver in 10 years.

As deano, I've never really drunk that much, can't be bothered TBH. Would rather put my money into a car or savings for somewhere to live - god knows, I'll need a decent deposit on somewhere.
I also seem to be far better off than my mates who drink it all away and personally think I'm better for it.

I go out almost every Saturday. I like meeting up with the lads and having a laugh. Getting pissed is just a side effect from this.

i think there is a compromise you have to reach.
i love getting drunk with my friends and going out, but i only do it mabye once a month or longer, i find it gets boring if i do it more.
not to mention it drains loads of cash which i would rather spend on me or put in savings, i know what you meen though most of my friends at uni or not spend all there money just getting drunk and never have anything to show for it.

Spending money on your car, your never really going to get your money back, enjoyment you might get, but not exactly a worth while investment.
Go out and have fun while you can i say. Ill be off out tonight no doubt, been to clubs this week wednesday, tursday, local friday and a club again tonight.
Its fun getting pissed, and you get to shag drunk females, always a bonus

im out every friday and saturday and sometimes during the week.
i dont worry about spending money going out as long as im having a good time.
plus im already on the property ladder, have plenty savings etc so can afford to go out and have a good time.
there was a while when i couldnt be bothered going out drinking but now im out more than ever.
