Ideally i'm after a newer car like a facelifted UK classic or at best an STI Bugeye but this caught my eye as it's the same colour as my first scooby which i still miss

Scooby WRX

Up for £4700

He said he would give me £1300 for my VTR so the price i'd pay is £3400.It's had a load of work done in the past like a clutch..gearbox..maf sensor. It's a new HKS mushroom filter which i'd take off BUT it makes the flutter noise and sounds ace no DV though thank god.And it has a full decatted exhaust and the better 4 pot brakes.Been in the UK since a year after it was built.

It's just a WRX BTW even though it says 2000 4wd in the ad and it has the STI pink badge and foglight covers.

Yeah i'm tempted to go more for a standard car adam but i'd just have to buy my own exhaust etc and if i bought a uk classic it wouldn't be as quick.

I'll have to have a good think aye

We need to know how much were going to be paying out in total etc so we know how much i can spend

This is a safe bet and won't make a big difference to what house we can buy.

I want a P1 or a blobeye STI ideally

Hell yeah! I know you can do it but the fun would last all of a few hundred miles then bye bye turbo.

Decided to wait until we have bought the house then nearer xmas get either a Bugeye STI with PPP or a Blobeye STI if funds allow.

dont do it m8, get an MY97/98 WRX or an MY99/00 classic. Get the facelifted interior, V4 cars are sooo much better then V3.

id save up and get an sti mate, ive got a classic v4 sti in standard form apart froma cat back exhaust and before that i had a wrx, the difference is unbelievable, the wrx i had was remapped n had lots og work and was pushing 278bhp my standard sti is 280bhp as standard but feels so much quicker, in my opinion save and get the best sti you can afford with plenty of history, or if you can afford it get the sti type r, the ultimate impreza in my honest opinin such a drivers cars a lot better than a p1, hope that helps matey
