£750.50 - not bad eh, so i'm considering getting 1 as i've seen a really nice black 1. and its only £200 more than my corsa

does any1 have 1? or an a3? any tips on what to look for when loooking at 1?

S3 2.0 Turbo??

Had a right good play with one of these in the XE Corsa, lovely cars and they go!!!

yeah i relly like them, theres 1 for £8.5k with only 66k on the clock and it's 2001, so i might have a gand at it

Scrutinise them. Do a HPI check yourself, take a trained mechanic and go over it thoroughly.

Alot of S3's have murky histories.

It would be a tad quicker than the xe corsa if Im right in thinking it was the 180 version?

The lower spec ones are shite, they look shite and tacky.

However paying a little more gets you a lovely model

I had a pop at one of these the other week coming off a r/bout. He only started pulling away when I got into 4th. I was quite surprised. Thought they were quicker than that.

as my saxo was on par with Gaz's xe corsa.. and my ibiza 1.8t would destroy my saxo, ate a 172 the other day, so he must have been a poo dirver

There is no Visual differences between a lower spec S3 and a high spec one? Apart from Maybe the S-line wheels and Ali mirrors. They are all the same car so I don't see how the lower spec ones are shite

S3's are either 210 or 225bhp the later being the face-lift
*NOTE* NOT ALL FACE-LIFTS ARE 225bhp! SOME HAVE THE 210bhp ENGINE!!

yeah this 1 it 210bhp, i'm going to have to think about it, but it's the insurance that sways me as compared to the corsa, it's a much newer and sleek car, always liked them
