I fitted a 106gti lump to my brothers S1, I used the rallye box on that and IIRC the top end was around 120mph on the limiter. It had a Pug-sport exhaust, stainless fannymould and induction kit fitted. Was a quick little badger, took it to donington and the only thing that let it down was the tyres were too narrow so it was lacking in grip. I reckon the 1/4 time would definately be mid-high 14's

Theres no way a standard saxo vts would do a 14.9 imo.
XE'd Novas do mid to high 14s, they have more power/torque and less weight than a saxo.

My car has a better power/weight than a vts, and could only manage a 16.0

Doing the math, a standard vts(117bhp), and 935kg weight, can not do a 14.9 1/4.
Either the car was mega stripped, or had 20/30hp over standard power.

vts isnt 117bhp iv already told you they vary between 120 and 130

i could show you the slip if i still spoke to the kid that did it.

are you also not listening i did a 15.2 in my 106? does it not make sense that with a perfect start 0.3 knocked off that time is easily achievable
