Bored out to 1.3 - how thin is that engine going to be?

Please note, I have 0.9% knowledge about engines.

surely they would just change the wet liners anyway to larger ones and fit bigger pistons. as you cant really bore out wet liners

English spec ones are 75bhp, iirc french spec ones are 90-100bhp. The english ones are essentially XS's with nice stickers on them. By no means fast but very cool and rare these days. Id love one.

was going to say they are not 100bhp.

the 106 s1 rallye is where its at, can appreciate the rarity of the 205 rallye but could not see the point as the words 205 GTi spring to mind.

french 1s are 1.3 and 103 bhp in standerd form, english are as butler said a 1.4 xs with sticker,
rallyes are quicker than 1.6 gtis and used the 1.9 subframe and 1.6 rear beam, so it realy a lighter gti any way seth
