WTF is that about?!
How are you meant to wash your hands when you have to hold the button down for the water to come out? Can't exactly wash one hand at a time.

Exactly I also hate the taps in the local McDonalds, it's sunk into a hole in the wall. They look too similar to urinals

The McDonalds all in one things are also shit. They are meant to wet your hands, then dish out some soap, then dry them. They don't work at all, your hands end up slimey.

Have these at Manchester station, I find they're alright, you can't expect to give your hands a really good wash in public toilets!

How is that thorough though? Public toilets are nasty at the best of times. Sorry but I have a thing about keeping my hands clean. Those Dettol adverts freak me out

hand dryers in toilets are unhygenic anyway, they suck in toilet air, warm it up and voila bacteria covered hands 
i give my hands the gold old shake method
