We've just had an FTO traded in at work and I'm tempted to buy it..

Its a manual V6 and comes up on the HPi as a Ralliart special edition..

Its got Cusco coilovers, subtle kit and 17's on it..

Only done 64k aswell...

What sort of money is something like this worth? Considering buying it just to stash away for a while and make some cash..

Always liked the look for the FTO's, but never knew what they are like performance wise.

I'm no help, sorry

its could be either 1 that ralliart registerd here as they imported a few with full mitsi warrenty or one of the rarer lightweight ones with lsd etc etc doesnt have aircon as standard no leccy folding mirrors a few toys down and is quite a bit faster than a normal mivec one both in a straight line and on a track, also was a yellow limited edition and one very very rare 1 that came with more power and coilover suspension with a few more toys

like said they aint the quickest only 200bhp and weigh in at over 1200kg but the engines are bulletproof and if serviced right cruise past 150thou miles without ever missing a beat which is not bad at all when you consider they go past 8 thou rpm, can get a turbo kit for them but then if you want a bit extra speed instead of reliability why buy a fto in the first place

Sister's ex had one of these. He sold it for an evo 4 because it was "much too slow for a fancy looking car"

your mums got a gr then? 180bhp and no mivec kinda like a honda but without vtec

never understood the thing about why people think its a fancy looking car and therefor should be very fast - its a 13 year old car that is fwd no turbo and weighs shitloads due to it having tons of electrical stuff and very high soundproofing levels that a sports coupe from japan shouldnt have so of course its not going to be fast it was never designed to be loud and harsh have solid suspension or pin you to the seat when you put the foot down if it was it would be a stripped out no comprimise road racer... oh wait they already had that at that time it was a teg type r

Drove one at work (Automatic) and performance wise, it dissapointed. But inside, its awesome. Perfect seating position and a generally nice car.

Far from quick though

How would a HPI show it as a Ralliart one? They were never official imports and even so, it wouldn't normally be registered as one :S

Went down to work earlier and its a GR model according to the badging.. Has a few trick bits like adjutable strut tops for camber etc adn the cusco coilovers. Also had an adjustable rev limiter and few other bits and bobs..

Think I'll give it a miss for now, cant see me making a lot on it.. especially if its not a Mivec one..
