I purchased an all in one remote last night, but after purchasing it for £9.99 my girlfriend informed me she has bought me a really expensive one for my birthday on the weekend. obviously i didnt need the one i got from ebay, so i emailed the bloke being as nice as i could and explained the situaion and that i would pay any paypal fees he has incurred.

then i got this lol

"Well for wasting my time and costing me eBay fees I will have to give you a negative feedback and warn other about yuorself and your slimey attitude and tales about getting stuck under your girlfriends wand"

lol does this seem harsh i meen i know it was my fault for not wanting the item but it really couldnt be helped, i offered to pay his fees lol, its not like i do this all the time either i have 325 positive feedback.

plus it says he accepts refuns on the advert

well yeah i admit that but i meen he never posted it or out i emailed straight after, said i would pay all his fees. not to mention the fact if he had sent it and i wanted to send it back for whatever reason he says on the add this is fine.

so hes not that screwed over, ive sold stuff before and had people plain tell me they dont want things as they dont trust ebay ect and was never that rude, wereas i actually said i would incurr all finacial costs, i dont think hes that screwed over really.

but hes obviously a tit any way.

I think its fair, ebay is full of people that win stuff and then come up with reasons after why they cant pay for it. Its not just the fees, hes taken the time to write the listing and wait however many days the auction was and now he will have to wait again for the next auction to finish.

That is harsh and repayment of fees should be adequate for most however it's not his fault you have changed your mind and he should not be expected to to accept the return. For the sake of £10 ish I'd keep it as a spare or sell it on.

yeah but if he looked at my feedback he can see this was a one off i meen ive got 325 positive mostly from buying, as for the effort he only has to click one button and the add is relisted, and it was a buy it now which had been running for days as he had multiple remotes.

fair enoigh if hes pissed but i believe in being nice to people in life, especially when i was so polite to him and said i would pay fees.

also it was a question of would he have accepted a return it states in his auction no quibble returns.

USEFULL INFO: If anyone ever leaves you a negative then do the same for them but make sure you use a swear word, and also their name if you know it e.g. MR SMITH YOU FUCKING NOB.

Leaving swear words or peoples name in feedback is against ebay rules so as soon as you have left the feedback email ebay and say 'I left this feedback in haste' etc and know now it's against rules so can you (ebay) remove it. Ebay remove both sides of the feedback so they remove the feedback the other person left for you as well!!!

If he's going to leave negative feedback you might as well not bother paying him anything then might you.

If you gonna get it anyway, do a proper job

Are you sure they don't just remove the feedback you left with swearing in it?
