Its not worth it.. you will get into shit loads of trouble and will find it hard to get a job anywere then. Also the company who take you on will get into aload of bother aswell and have to pay out fines etc and more than likely lose their license to serve alcohol. Or somthing along those lines.

my mate got a job in somerfields when he was 15, a few weeks before his 16th.
they found out one week before his 16th and ''sacked him'' until he was 16, he was then allowed to come straight back and work as normal
but yes, you will get found out, just enjoy your life now and wait until you are 18 for the bar job

They'll check.
If you need to be 18, they'll expect proof of ID, probably even your birth certificate.
Maybe not at the first interview stage, but after that they will do.

they might not find out directly, but using your NI number Im sure the taxman may end up finding out when they sublit your NI payments, etc.
Not worth it, especially if you get the company fucked over.

your not supposed to enclose age on cv's these days - age discrimination etc..
just say I do not need to enclose that information hah
We'd been going to a pub for years before we were 18. my mate decided to get a job there.
He was 17...
Went through interview... then they found out his age and were like wtf? your 17? you've been coming here for years with your mates.

oh yeh - in the end they gave him the job but he could only serve soft drinks and collect glasses till he was 18
we all got id'd from then on, so stopped going there - so my mate had ajob in a place where we didnt hang around any more lame for him.

loads of places to choose from. the most common job on websites seem to be bar stuff. An the bar hours suit me best.

That's only the case if it's a job which isn't age restricted.

just be honest and apply for jobs still. Could get one as a glass collector/washer/general help until your old enough to serve alcohol.

if its cash in hand youll get away with it, licensee will be liable too for any fines as they should have checked more thouroughly

you can also serve alchohol at 16 you just cant take payment for it, i.e waitress/waiter can come behind and pour it for a table

you can only serve topped alcohol, i.e. take bottle of wine to the table. You couldnt pull a pint, or open a bottle of beer and serve it. Hence why 16yr olds can sell alcohol in the supermarket.
