Hit an island in the middle of the road, drivers side went straight over it, completely wrote off rear and front Compomotives and tyres
broke the engine mount so the engine has dropped! power steering belt to. and maybe new suspension needed!
and need a new splitter but thats not important that part right now!

Definitely could have been worse! no bodywork damage thank F*** (it waS actually was meant to go in for painting in the next few weeks to!)

so i have a astra sport wheel on front and a steelie on the back! Lovely!

really quite gutted!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully can be fixed by saturday though..fingers crossed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i must have counted about 30 cars before 2 blokes stopped and help push it out of the road for me!

i was only going about 10 mph, as i just came out my road. luckily i wasnt going any faster!!! and the car behind me who saw itjust drove past!

how on earth did you manage that?surely if the island is just outside your road you have seen it a million times before?

How did you manage that?

My first car i was going a bit to fast in the rain slid right over a roundabout, luckily only fecked the front wheel.

You learn from your mistakes tho, just a shame it wasnt in a shed to begin with.

hope your ok tho. Get right back out driving again.

i only took one pic of my alloy to send to my b/f
its not very clear, its possibly can get rear one fixed, unsure as of yet, just been phoning round for new ones!

once my b/f gets the engine mount and power steering thing fixed and 2 alloys he will drive it anyway and take it to his friends garage , get itup on ramps and see
might have to put my standard suspension back on if current one is now messed up.

But i need my car to get to work.. my mum is on holiday for 3 weeks! No transport!!!

trust me i had just turned out of my road and about id say about 4 car lengths from that road it was the island, narrow road the one i came out of and narrow betwen the island,loads of people hit them, i dont even remember if i had gone in second gear yet! i dont even know how i did it! it was split second! went not even half my wheel over the island and bang. i couldnt even brake! i just sorta went blank! then stopped

got my original ones still.
and to think i was going to have my 2 litre brakes fitted last weekend! maybe it could of been worse, locking up with those on and then skiddng and hitting car!

Sorry to hear of the bump phi

Sound like you can get it sorted fairly quickly, however look for more damage as if you've ruined a front Compmotive then I'm sure it was a bigger hit than you think.

I've never locked my front 2.0 brakes even when braking really hard, Only ever had the rear lock, but i need to adjust the bias valve.
