Someone needs to pop that in a TARDIS, go back in time to the vw factory in the early 70's and slap the entire design team repeatedly around their faces whilst throwing buckets of ice cold piss over them and shouting at them and making them look at that doing donuts.

The arches DON'T MATTER.

I think they look good but that's besides the point, they could be pink and dog turd shaped. It's the coolest vw ever.

BTW, MK IIs look great with tarmac arches and they're round, so
