  FPMSL steve.

Laptop? When walking around with it in your pocket?! It might be "big" but it still fits in your jeans pocket. Is about a 10th the size of a laptop, plus if you had a laptop you would need a 3g card which would probably still be slower than the browser on my phone.

Proper sat nav yes i didnt buy it for the NAV part (got my own) i need the maps function as i go exploring around london etc alot like to know where i am, having a map in your pocket is ace especially when your lost and you can get your own gps position, my sat nav is portable but still twice the size of my phone

QWERTY keyboard for browsing internet and writing emails, something i do all day long at work where i have no net acess to a pc and carrying a laptop isnt practical

TV?! Steve, sometimes is best to just say nothing at all if you cant say anything worth reading

All in all its a geek device with alot of uses, thats how they made it and people buy them

You'll be squinting like mad using the keyboard, and how many times will you mash the keys and press more than one letter?

Exploring London? Don't you live there?

Now that was tiny, and keys arent easil;y mashed

Steve, you didnt offend me at all, just wanted you to understand its the convergance and size/portability that appeal.

dont get what the big deal is tbh, pocket pc/phone hybrids have been doing the same thing for years but a lot better, yet there wasnt a big deal about it.

guess its just because nokia finally released a hald decent attemp and it appeals the masses, were as pocket pc/hyrbids were only really for the very very geek.

id never get a nokia btw, the software sucks, give me windows pocket pc software and the millions of apps for that anyday.
