Just having a convo at work and thought i would stick this up on here;

Talking about decent road cars, that are as at home on the ring........
Just having a convo in general about low cost fun motoring!

The ctieria is as follows......

Cant be "too" old (sub 10ish years)
Needs to be something that can be bought and used "out of the box"
Little or no modification needed.
Something which can still be driven to work
Got to be reasonably reliable. (:lol

What would you go for?

Used to have a Jap auction near me, was located on Tilbury Docks. Scooby's, Skylines going for crazy cheap money, £2000 all day long. Bargains are out there, just got to find them.

Have you ever owned one or even know what you're talking about? Impreza engines aren't as shit as people like to make out, they keep on truckin for years.

My classic took a major ass pounding and i bought that for £3.2k.

106 gti, Saxo VTS, 306 GTI6

These cars are perfect round the ring with a few modifications.

Even stuff like little 106 quiksilvers. There were 2 when i was at the ring...they were flying, keeping it planted and out doing alot of expensive sports cars.

But then.....its about knowledge.

not for the ring, the 325 would be better as you need the top end power good torque for the hills etc
