same as me, bunch of metal staples in me side,
whever you do dont take for granted leaning on one leg,
i stepped of my bed, loads of pain, ended up on the floor.

Aye its not nice at all, they put ma drip in wrong 1st time lol that was also agony, got laid off at work as well so boss didn't have to pay me sick me said it wasn't his fault. Shocking

they put me out, was in one night, then they packed me off home next morning.
ihave so much work to do onma cars and cant do it, is frustrating

I was meant to be out same day but then I fainted when told to walk round room lol, i thought i was fine as well. Least thats it sorted was a real pain on the neck when it popped out lol

I had mine done a last year, was the most painful thing ive ever had, the hernia itself wasnt sore but the recovery after gettin it fixed was agony, couldnt pick a thing up that was heavier than a kettle for 2 weeks, been left with a 6" scar across the bottom of my stomache. I was in and out of hospital the same day

ive fucked the painkillers off as there side effect is a headace
i can bear the pain in my side
but i cant cope with headaces

I had one when I was younger. Only operation I have had (touch wood) and after it when I laughed it felt like bits inside me were moving around

aye lol, same here I never thought it would be so sore they gave me morphine after op lol, cos they said mine was a real mess and would be extremely sore

When I got the morphine I woke up after and felt really fucking thirsty. The nurses gave me orange juice, then some more , then some more , then some more. Drank loads.
Was in total pain afterwards but it wasnt due to the op , it was due to me bursting for a piss !!
