Well after 2 months of searching high and low, for a low mileage, minter, I came across this one. Its a 2001 Y reg with 39k miles and full service history. It has been maintained very well and had the cameblt done at 33k miles (5 years old with a major service)

Went to pick it up from Watford on thursday, after my old car was picked up, and couldnt believe the condition of it, for a 6 year old car, its immaculate.

I already had a vision for the car, so had most of the mods bought and waiting, ready to go on the car. The car is booked into the bodyshop for full colour coding including fitting ecosse classic spoiler, morettes and phase 2 boot strip (sp bumper grill will be fit when car is in bodyshop aswell)

In the meantime, I fit the other parts:
SP upper grill
SP bonnet grill
180 Carbon mirror caps
Short aerial
Phase 2 rear lights
Flat wiper blades
Debadged

And then it was onto a full cleaning session:

Wash car with Triplewax shampoo
Clean wheels with Megs hot rims and Megs wheel brush
Clayed car with Meguiars quik detal clay bar
Washed car again with Triplewax
Dried off with Megs Waffle towel
Polished with Autoglym super resin polish
Sealed with Autoglym extra gloss protection
Wheels dried and tyre shined
All sills dried down
Engine bay cleaned, all plastics shined with Autoglym bumper care. Also removed underbonnet carpet and cleaned underside of bonnet

Really happy with results (car was cleaned 3 days ago, but didnt have camera then, so couldnt take pics until today, but still looks really good IMO)

Comments more than welcome:

Thanks for looking

looks nice that fella, I own a 206 GTi as well nice car but was a dissapointing step up from my Saxo VTS. The 206 GTi is more of a comfortable cruiser than previous Peugeot GTi's, got a very good spec with climate control, air con, leather alcantara. Had mine 18 months now and havent had any major problems apart from the catalytic converter which got replaced under warranty.
